I REALLY STRUGGLED with this week’s theme (which was “vast,” by the way). It wasn’t because I struggled with the concept. It was because the powers that be (heretofore to be known as The PTB) threw me a slew of curveballs last week.
I KICKED off the week with a three day tension migraine so mighty that my medications didn’t even make a dent in it. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee! Good times. Good times.
THIS WAS promptly followed days of rain making the shot I had in mind an impossibility. So what’s a girl to do?
I thought of the biggest, most immense things I own…my mouth and my imagination.
AND THAT is precisely what I shot…my mouth and my imagination. Those who know me well know I do my fair share of talking…coupled with my inquisitive nature (I constantly ask my best friends questions…sometimes really weird random stuff I’ve been pondering and sometimes poking around wanting to know more about their thoughts, beliefs, details of their professions, lives…you get the idea) my mouth and the constant whirl of thoughts that is my mind is a universe unto itself. And that’s how this week’s Project 52 came to be…big mouth strikes again…

AND for anyone who might be curious, yes that is the horsehead nebula taking up residence in my mouth, and there is ample room for it there amid the vastness.
