A Very Intimate Ceremony In The Mountains

TOWARDS the end of May I had the unique pleasure of shooting Tashina & Jason’s simple and beautiful wedding.  What made it so unique?

1)  The Location.  Tashina & Jason got married at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs.  Tucked away in the Ozarks, it’s a stunning location designed by architect Fay Jones, who was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Gorgeous views + beautiful architecture + precious couple = happy photographer with camera full of pretty pictures.

2)  The Ceremony.  The ceremony was as intimate as it gets with only the minister, his wife, the couple and myself in attendance.  And I have to tell you, it was awesome (and not just because I didn’t have to worry about guests photobombing my shots as they jump into the aisle brandishing their iPhones to get a picture of the couple exchanging rings and destroying my shot in the process – one of the great frustrations of the modern wedding photographer).  With no guests to shoot I was able to dedicate 100% of my time and attention on the happy newlyweds – and we had a blast.

It is an honor and blessing to be entrusted with such special memories and moments for such a sweet and lovely couple.  Thank you, Tashina & Jason, and may your life together be long, happy and filled with love and blessings.

Kisses & Chaos,
