Sorry I have been missing in action but the past week has been INSANE! Insane in a good way, but insane nonetheless. Things should be a bit calmer starting next week so I should have more time to write and edit photos for you, my dears. I can’t wait to share my adventure with you! Ok…enough of my rambling…let’s get to the gratitude and love, shall we?

The Chaotic Edition

~ Hidden treasures & unexpected delights ~ The AWESOME performance by The LXD on Conan last night…Dear God I Love Dance!  Have no idea who The LXD are?  I posted some vidoes below…they are brilliant!  ~ Speaking of Dancing: I am insanely excited for the opening of The Black Swan. Ballet? Yes. Darren Aronofsky? Hell yes. Great cinema? I’m willing to bet on it! ~ Red velvet ANYTHING! ~ Road trips with my Honey ~ Getting accurate (and reassuring) readings from a talented sensitive ~ Deciding to offer Reiki sessions again (details to follow) ~ Nighttime visits to candlelit plantations ~ The liberation of making a decision…even when it’s scary ~ Buying Christmas presents for my family ~ Leopard print wrapping paper ~ My new haircut. I thought it was a little too short at first but I absolutely love it. Barry is the best! ~ My family, my family, my family. They are the BEST ~ Hope for the future. My cup has been running low the past few months but now it’s overflowing!

What a wonderful and wild week this has been!  I’m overflowing with gratitude, so without further ado I present this week’s:

Things I Love Thursday!

*  Road trips with my honey!  (Details and photos to come!)  *  haunted b&b’s  *  Swamps…I have long been a fan of cypress knees, spanish moss and alligators.  *  Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.  My honey and I went to see it earlier this week and it was AWESOME!!!  It does make me sad that there’s only one more film.  I adore that series.  I become so attached to fictional characters, it borders on ridiculous.  *  Monk re-runs   *  dirigible plums  *  Buying Christmas gifts.  I love giving presents, and this year I’m giving some pretty darn awesome ones!  *  Finally giving my gnome a name courtesy of the Name My Gnome Contest.  Poor guy has been nameless for 5 years.  It’s about time he had proper name!  *  Nursing my fantastic feline companion, Mischa, back to health.  He lost a lot of weight recently and as it turns out he has a thyroid condition.  He’s on medication now and is feeling better.  HOORAY!  I love my little furball to absolute bits!  *  This killer contest…Italy?  Yes, please! Thanks to Gala Darling for posting about it!   *  My newest project:  Pocket Sized Positivity.  I am having such a good time creating them!  *  I’m still highly addicted to and loving every minute of The Walking Dead.  Still haven’t seen it?  You can watch the trailer here.  It’s definitely giving my adrenals a workout!  *  My uber-supportive husband who encourages me to follow my bliss…even when he doesn’t “get it.”  SWOON.  *  Sugar-free pumpkin bread.  Yum!  *

I need your help.  My adorable little gnome has been nameless for about 5 years now; horrible of me, I know.  I have tried and tried to come up with something that suits him and have had no success.  So I am enlisting your help.  I have decided to leave the naming up to you, dear readers!  Just leave your suggestions in the comments section and check back on January 1, 2011 to see if you won.    You can enter as many names as you like, so name away!  I will submit the list to the National Board of Gnome Nomenclature on December 29, 2010, and they will select the name they like best.  The winner will receive an awesome gift set consisting of a  mug, notebook and postcard set from my website, AlliWoodsFrederick.com.  So channel your inner Bastian (a la Neverending Story) and NAME MY GNOME!  Good luck!
